How does the wellness program work?

At HealthySpan Wellness, we are committed to customization of the wellness programs. The solution for every individual is personalized as every individual is unique; 2 different individuals with similar symptomatic discomfort can possibly have totally different underlying root-causes; also there can be significant differences in how they are genetically pre-disposed to certain lifestyle ailments based on lifestyle habits that run in the families – the approaches, therefore, need to be different for that very same reason. How is a wellness program administered?

This program is remotely administered using easy-to-use voice, text and video platforms. Regular wellness consultation is done. Diet plans, activities recommendations, recipes and miscellaneous lifestyle habits modifications are covered under the wellness program.

In a healthy weight loss program, how much weight can I expect to lose?

It totally depends on the individual’s lifestyle and his adherence to the program suggested by our consultant. If an individual adopts the program into his lifestyle, weight loss will eventually begin. We have a very high success rate and have never seen a client not getting results if they follow our advice and are engaged with the consultant. The ideal body weight may depend on body build, height and weight at which an individual perhaps was at pink of health and fitness levels irrespective of BMI. There will be an appropriate discussion in due course of the program. Our approach is focused on making the body healthy from within and weight loss, if any, is a by-product of our effort invested at making the body healthy from within – a healthy body has no business to keep excess weight.

How long does this program take?

It depends on multiple factors – Your health history, lifestyle, eating habits to name a few. If someone follows the program consistently for 3-4 months, one can achieve desired results, though individual results may vary.

How much weight can I expect to lose weight in one month?

We never encourage any individual to start expecting huge results in the very first month. First month’s result may differ vastly from other month’s results. Depending on the stage of a weight loss program, weight reduction will move in the right direction.

I can’t starve myself. Will I be able to follow this program?

Our customized wellness programs comprise of recommendations of meals and snacks that will cater to your individual requirement for weight loss all along while also taking care of immunity and energy levels. Our programs are designed in a way that one undergoing the program remains reasonably full and healthy throughout the day and there will never be reliance on portion-control, as by definition, a portion-control regimen may lead to scarcity of essential nutrients, nutrients that our bodies cannot manufacture and have to be supplied from outside as part of our diet.

What type of diet is recommended as part of the wellness program?

We believe in healthy practices and encourage our clients not to follow crash, starvation diets, and instead opt for healthy weight loss, weight gain and muscle building. Our consultants understand the lifestyle challenges, food preferences, allergies, and other key details to create a personalized diet plan that fits in your lifestyle.

I have a sweet tooth. How will the healthy weight loss program be able to help me reduce weight?

All the issues leading to the sugar cravings are easily handled in our program and once you start to follow, your body will eventually learn to handle the unhealthy cravings for sweets.

Do I have to eliminate some foods permanently from meals?

Our wellness programs do not rely on portion control. However, certain food types, certain ingredients or recipes – if they are found not useful and are considered counterproductive when it comes to healthy weight loss and making the body healthy from within – may be considered for tweaking. The taste, variety, quantity of food is always paid attention to during the wellness program.

I live in a PG accommodation/hostel, Can I follow the program?

Our consultants understand the lifestyle challenges and utmost care is taken while designing the program which best suits you. The program is personalized for you so all your restrictions or preferences are captured while planning.

How will this program affect my health?

Our primary objective is to improve your health. By following our diet plans and recommendations of other lifestyle habits modifications, your health & fitness level will improve and that will eventually lead to weight loss in a healthy weight loss program. Weight loss, therefore, is a by-product of our effort invested at making the body healthy from within – a healthy body has no business to keep excess weight.

How many calories would the recommended diet plan contain in a day?

We keep our distance from calorie counting as we only focus on right and healthy eating. By following our program, the amount of calorie intake is maintained and you will not even notice it.

I travel a lot; can I follow the diet plan recommended as part of the wellness program?

Our weight loss programs take into account all your travels. We always make sure to provide you a variety of options so that you can easily follow the diet and also enjoy different cuisines.

Will I reduce some weight even if I follow 70% of the program?

It has been observed that few clients express inability to follow the wellness program recommendations 100% for various reasons. Whatever the reason is, you will still reduce weight if you could not follow 100% of the program, though the pace of weight reduction may vary from client to client.

Will I gain all the lost weight back if I stop the healthy weight loss program?

Our wellness programs are always centered around effecting a healthy weight loss. We do not encourage starving to lose weight. In stead, we guide you to adopt a healthy lifestyle that will help you lose weight and weight maintenance become easier even after the program is over.
